Didn't work?
- Nothing happened when I plugged the stick in
- Honda Hack has to be on the radio first. Plug in within 5 minutes of starting the car. The stick must be FAT32 with the files at the top, not in a folder.
- The screen said my radio isn't supported
- Nothing on your car was changed. Contact support for a full refund.
- No QR code after the restart
- Do the full restart: car off, open and close the driver's door, wait 2 minutes, start it.
- I scanned the QR but it didn't unlock
- The car needs internet (home Wi-Fi or your phone's hotspot). No internet? On the activate page, download the key and put it on your stick.
What does the result code on my screen mean?
OKorOK_RESTART_CAR- Success! Unplug the stick, restart the radio by holding the power knob, and scan the QR code on screen.
E_NO_ROOT- Root permission was unavailable. Honda Hack must be active on your radio. Open the Honda Hack app on screen to verify root status.
E_NOT_SUPPORTED- Your radio's Honda firmware version is not supported yet. Zero files were changed. Contact support for an immediate 100% refund.
E_COPY- A file on the USB stick was corrupted or missing (the stick may have been removed too early). Re-format the stick as FAT32 and extract the files again.
E_SHIM- The companion app could not be installed. Check Honda Hack to ensure unknown sources and installation permissions are allowed.
E_PATCH_ROLLED_BACK- The built-in safety check detected an issue starting Android Auto and safely restored your stock Honda system files automatically.
E_UNINSTALL- The uninstaller stick encountered an error. Check the details log on the screen or contact support.
